I got mine today and it works good so far. No errors installing. Paddle kick not supported on AWD. Paddle hold is although I'm not sure I like that yet. My build date was 12-04.

FlatEric,

Is your FlashPaq still performing well? I have a 05 Magnum RT with a build date of 1/05. SC cannot give me a straight answer if the 3825 will work so I think I am going to just go for it.

I am currently on the lastest version from Superchips. I was getting an error telling me that i could not use the the the tranny mods due to a factory setting in the tranny. I pulled from the Superchips web site the tranny setting I needed and then asked the dealer to update the tranny ($80.00).

The dealer updated the tranny and now everything works and works well. I love the Superchip and when tuned back to stock to take the car in for service you almost cant stand to drive it with it so SLOW.

Fastmag with a build date of 1/05 you too will more then likely have to get this same dealer update. Once you own a Superchip you can log in and find the needed update number and the dealer will know what to do.

SuperChip and a Magnum, does it get any better?

My dealers says theres a new update. He thought it was version 4. something. Im going in Monday for the update. Then Ill order my Flashpac and we will see. I want it in and running before the Mopar Nats next month. I gave them my build date of May 04 to Chris at Superchips and my program is version 3.54 as of now. He told me it would work fine. Ive got my doubts that they know what will and what wont work untill you have a problem . I know for a fact there is at least a 3.61 version of software before the dealer even mentioned the 4.some. If there is a problem does anyone know if you can put everything back to oem if you have to have it fixed due to a programer problem ? Hate to have it download half of it, then decide it will give me something like a no start. Then they find out I changed it and decline repair.

No problems so far. I really like it when I am slowing down and the trans kicks down a gear or two, the exhaust burbles, etc. In Stock the trans does not shift until you have pretty much stopped. Also, I found out the top speed of my AWD is an indicated 159 MPH. Shifts are crisper, can't say I notice any power or MPG improvements.

I have taken mine back to stock at least 3 times, just to prove that I could, with no problems whatsoever. I just did it again yesterday as I am putting the car in the shop for new rotors and to fix a small booboo that I put in the fender/door last winter. This is recommended because if the dealer overflashes your car with the FP installed, you are toast, the FP no longer works.

My build was 12/04 and did not need a dealer update for the FP to work. Check out the attached file for a list of folks who have the FP, their build dates, etc, and if it works or not. Most do.

I don"t know my build date or the version my car is programmed to. I do know the tranny stuff would not work. I asked the dealer to update the the car to the latest version and they told me there was nothing newer available.

I then read on the SuperChip web site the actual update code for the tranny calibration. I asked the dealer to update to this version and the ride home was nothing but fun.

I can now use all the functions of the tuner with positve results and no issues.

I think by now any problem anyone has can and will be fixed.

As far as the dealer messing something up, I have had mine in and out for a number of things with no problems. If you follow the instructions and put the settings back to stock prior to going to the dealer they say everything will be fine. I tune mine back to stock in the dealer parking lot. This avoids a very sucky drive to the dealer.

Finally bought a FlashPaq on eBay and WOW what a difference it makes. My car shifts harder and at higher RPM which makes a huge difference in the way it performs. I'm only using the 87 octane performance setting because 92 is almost $4/gallon, but I can really tell the difference. The good news for most of you is my car has the old software verson and date and the tuner works perfectly. My suggestion is update the tuner using your PC first, then try it on your car.

Just received my 3825 Superchips today and it is NOT compatable with my 06 R/T Magnum. The build date on my unit was June of '06 and Superchips advised that the are having problems with the "later build" Magnums and the 3825 programmer and that a fix hopefully will be out by the end of the week.

Just thought I would let everyone know this since it's kind of a bummer that this has not been told to us prior to purchasing. Also, Superchips advised that numerous people with latter build cars are awaiting this fix. [:@]
