by Dodge I assume you mean your local Dodge dealer, most local dealers don't have a clue unfortunatly, for example many of them will still tell you there isn't any AWD or plans to make one for the magnum/300 even though it's been officialy announced that they would be making one and you can order one now I belive, i'm pretty sure someone from Chrysler had said the next car SRT car after the crossfire is going to be the magnum/300 SRT-8.

A quote from this month's (August) Car and Driver magazine on page 78 in the story about the Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6:

"Anticipation runs high for the SRT versions of the Chrysler 300C sedan and Dodge Magnum wagon, now only months away, we are advised."

Read the whole article online at:

Car and Driver Crossfire SRT-6

They mention the SRT versions of the Chrysler 300C sedan and Dodge Magnum at the end of the 5th paragraph.

I hope it is true!

Also did you guys see the Chrysler 300C Touring pics in Autoweek? Supposedly only for the European market, but kinda cool...

Looks like a photo shop job to me, so how reputable is AutoWeek, and where did this "photo" come from? (Where the hell wold someone have a Magnum and a 300C "Touring" sitting in front of someone's house with a broken down concrete driveway anyway?!? Look at the wheels, and body.... Think people!!) I don't think they will make a SRT-8 if there is talk of a new Charger. Why would you brand something as the high performance car if you plan on making a muscle style car? If there would be a SRT-8, I would assume it would not be a station wagon.

Complete non-sense. Get used to the idea of not have a SC unless you put it on yourself. Which I'm working on it......

Phantom, the 300 Touring is real. It's fascinating to me how people pull the "photoshopped" card when they don't want to believe their eyes.

The Touring will be in Europe since there is no Dodge brand there.

Why would someone fake this photo? Would they remember to chrome the mirrors, door pulls and strip beneath the windows? Would they do such an excellent job with the reflections just to have the setting be so mundane? What just to fool their friends? To create a car that already exists? THINK MAN THINK! It's probably a preproduction being tested by an employee.

It's not fake.

ps: Another tidbit to prove it's real......the wheels. They are NOT the American 300C chrome wheels. Why you ask? Because chromed wheels aren't allowed in Europe because the chroming process can weaken them. They don't pass some European mandates. That's why the wheels are different.

You really think I fell for that? HAHAHA

Let me guess, that account just opened... and it has 2 posts. I wonder where they are? FOUND THEM! They were right underneath my nose. Go figure.

And the other account was opened up the day before, with guess what? 2 posts!!!

Talk about credibility, or the lack thereof.

Your going to have to do better than that. If I had time I would make a photo that looks very similar to that. It's not hard. You take a picture of a Magnum in place. You take another picture in the other. Then you add "chrome" on the mirrors, add a strip, put it on handles, and blur the details like badging and rims (so you can't see the Dodge emblem, not because Europe won't let you have chrome, although that might be true). The left one even looks grainy like when you photo shop it. It doesn't even blend into the background well. Nice try, but you haven't made me believe those photos are real. I'm more inclined to believe that someone took the front end off a 300C and stuck it on a Magnum.

But have you seen the spy photos off an Israeli satellite showing the shuttle exploding? Bet you believe that too.

And don't bother with another account and another retort. I don't care. If it comes out then fine. But I would put money down it won't look exactly like that.

Now this photo looks like it could be the real McCoy: http://www.autoweek.com/specials/2003_frankfurt/300c/ http://motortrend.com/autoshows/cove...chrysler_z.jpg

That I can believe, it doesn't even have Magnum rims!!! (does have the crappy chrome though)

At least it's not even in front of a broken down house.... tsk tsk tsk.
