Any and ALL complaints about your magnum
Thanks for checking the specs.
Guess my main concern is the very obvious shimmy (side to side, you could feel your leg moving, but not noticeable in the steering wheel) that I had at 40 mph. (see above post). Only after they rotated the tires did the pulling occur. The shimmy is still there but much reduced. Do you think there is a tire or rim problem that they are trying to correct with alignment? I thought the alignment problem was only on early builds.

It is definitley starting to sound like a tire/wheel issue. Most likely a tire issue. The Contimentals are infamous for problems. That's just one of the reasons I changed tires/wheels ASAP after getting the car. It could be one tire out of round, separated belt, etc, etc. Good luck and keep us posted with what happens.
I originally thought you probably had a vehicle drift being masked by a tire pull, still think that is the case but it also sounds like you have a seperated tire, not terribly uncommon in mass produced tires. I would look into having a different set of tires put on.
The dealer telling you that they don't have any wheels that will fit is total BS. Any LX platfrom wheels will bolt up, your just going down the freeway and back to see if it made a change. Some dealers really give us a bad name, what a bunch of di*ks.

Had the Magnum since late September and the only complaint I have is there is not enough time to drive it. It seems to be one fine machine!!!

None....car has been great. I have only had it a short time but dont have any shimmy...no right pull...and it rides just great. Mine wasnt built until late October though so maybe the bugs are out of it...?? I dont know but one great car.
sikpuppy, It's a true paint-on. It was done by "Canadian Rat Fink" Ron Gibbs, he's from Toronto. That's the only work done so far on the Magnum. Hopefully next year when he visits Vegas for Sema, I can talk him into doing a bit more.
Looks great! I'm getting ready to do a custom job on my car and have been leaning either toward some classy pinstriping or going all out with two-tone paint w/drop shadow flames. There is a guy here in Houston everybody calls Mad Max who does some of the most awesome freehand pinstriping so I may go that route. Still thinking about what direction and WILL do it sometime after the first of the year. Once again, great pinstriping!
Here's a new one I never heard of. When I went to pick up my nice "new" Magnum (Bright Silver, very nice Hemi.) it had 500 miles (860 kilometres) on it.
When I asked about this, I was told that this particular vehicle was a "Quality Assurance Vehicle". Is there any such thing? I have had the car for about three weeks, and I have never bought a car new before. Should I ask for a rebate or something?
Regards,
BrightSilver
