To answer my own question so that any future interested people can use the info:

There is no difference in my dash piece and the new Nav dash piece. I installed my Nav system last night and everything bolted right in. Like Butta! ;-)

Now, does anyone have a hack to make the system usable (I.E. new POI's, etc entered) while moving? I know the process for the Acura's systems as well as GM, but dunno this one. Nissan made it to where you cannot use it while moving, hope the Chrysler unit is not that well guarded....

Unfortunately, it is.

Granted this might be extreme but for $2k, you could put in a Mac Mini with a touch screen and buy a GPS locator and I think M$ has a navigator software package that you could install. I am the worst driver when it comes to directions in the world so I do wish I had a Navi system at times.

I got an aftermarket one thats same size, color and works almost identicaly to the Dodge OEM. I got it from http://www.navman.com with a case, internal battery, home and car charger for $499. I recently went to Pittsburg and it led me even down narrow gravel back roads to my destination address with very minor problems. The plus with the aftermarket one is I can use the same GPS in all my cars and in the Cessna too. Even shows the runways and taxiways on the airports. its about 6X4x3/4 inches and mounts on windshield.

I'm looking for instructions or advice on how to install the OEM Navigation System. Basically, how would go about installing the GPS antenna. I heard that it goes in the little circle on the dashboard. How would I access that?
I have the NAV bezel already!
