Dodge Muscle Cars When it was all about noise and big (and bigger) engines, Dodge and Plymouth ruled the roads. Discuss the Muscle cars that once were within.

Tell your mom's brother's nephew's cousin's sister that if she lets 20 psi out of the tires, she can pick up those other two seconds on the launch alone.

Hey, MTodd, how much does your lawn tractor weigh? My John Deere weighed in at 850 lbs. with the subwoofer and power/heated seats.

Oh..., and don't you two know, bottles are for babies. I'm turbocharging the "Deere" next payday. Lawn and Mower magazine said that they were able to run 87 lbs. of boost on a stock engine. Tractor Trend had an article that claimed 9s were possible with a CAI and cat-back.

We're just funnin' with you all, 71RR and Mopar2ya. We got a long way off of defining what a musclecar is.

You know, your answer probably makes more sense than all the others. Someone once said, "There are two types of people in the world, those who have hemis and those who want one."

It doesn't weigh anything since I filled the tires with Helium. I just ordered a Borla Header for it too, so you punk a$$e$ best look out and stop dis'n my mower [sm=loser.gif].

Kinda sucks if you don't remember to bounce on the up and down on the seat.

Badstrat a timslip was posted earlier, you need to enlarge it to read it. I have a video on the website also desimating a HEMI ram down the 1/4. I have 3 videos I need to find someone to put on disk so I can post them of 3 11.xx passes at Heartland Park in Topeka.

And dont get me started on the tiny ICs on a R/T, a decent IC even one off a SRT4 does wonders on a R/T.

Doesn't helium give your exhaust note a high, funny pitch, like a munchkin mobile?

At the speeds we are talking drag coeficient doesn't make a difference, now if your talking about what your R/T is currently running in the 1/4 mile then it does make a definate difference, but not with these cars stock.

I'm just going by what the manfacturer says they weigh and I did state that the majority were just over 3,050 lbs. curb weight. The base curb weight on the SRT-4 is 2,970 lbs. and I have found that the Kicker stereo adds an additional 30 lbs., I have yet to see how much the side impact air bags/seats add though.

How do you get that I "selectively take data and disregard other data"? When and where have I done this? I have yet to see any article that has the R/T clocked below 14.5, the only 14.2 time I had found was on a modified R/T not stock. I too know of several SRT-4's with mods running in the mid-low 14's, it a little thing called lack of experience. I've seen bone stock '03's run 13.7 and I've seen one lady only get low 15's in her SRT-4, the driver makes up more than half the equation, you should know that. Since you've used the "twinkie defense" only proves my point even more. With the exception of the magazine times of the R/T's in the mid-high 14's, everything else has been all over the 15's with one or two exceptionally poor low 16's (which I already mentioned had to be a **** poor driver or mechanical problem). You also need to understand that the biggest market for the SRT-4 is young drivers, mostly teenagers that have just gotten their license or haven't had it that long.

"Iknow its puts more rubber to the ground, and allows the tire to absorb a very minor about of load, but it sure shoots your argument in the butt."[sm=icon_rofl.gif] How does it shoot my argument? The short sidewall of the SRT-4's tires alow less flexability, lowering the tire pressure does help, but not nearly as much as it would if it had a taller tire running low pressure. The R/T has a taller tire, the taller the tire the more flexability and give it has allowing it to grab better, especially when the pressure is lowered.

Where do you get that I flamed your claimed 13.98 stock time? You might want to check the definition for flaming. I just don't believe that you changed absolutely nothing from the way it came from the factory and ran it over half a second quicker that any time I've ever seen for an R/T. I also have never claimed that your modified R/T didn't run an 11.68 now did I? The only thing I ever questioned about it was when you gave that time and then a link to where it was on a list with a far quicker time, that was the only thing I ever questioned, I never doubted that your modified R/T ran 11.68.
