Default Crane Cam

I was thinking about getting a crane cam 12 but I don't like how long you can go until you have to replace your timing belt. I heard you will have to replace the belt every 60 thousand miles verse stock, which in 90 thousand miles. How long will your timing belt last go until you have to replace it on the Crane Cam 10? About how much hp will you receive out of the 10?

I've never heard that. I wouldn't get the Crane 10 IMO. Go ahead and get the 12.

Who said that it would shorten the timing belt life anyway?

The #10 isn't worth it so don't even bother just get the #12. Even if you have to change your timing belt every 60k its still worth it. 60k miles is still a damn long time.

I don't know who told me this but, I was told the Neon RT has something similar to a 12. Is that true?

No, that's not true at all.

However, the 2001 Neon Magnum has a cam that has a duration of 11.75 which is close the the Crane 12.

The R/T does have the magnum engine. Neon R/T = Magnum Engine.

Depends on which year. pre 2000 they do not have the Magnum. 2000+ and there is a magnum.

Yes, but it's only the 2001 Magnum that has the cam that is close to the Crane. After 2001 the cams were changed so they are less aggresive.
