Dodge Buying Back Neons?
Greetings All:
Iam a new member here.I am hoping that someone can help meout. I purchased a 2005 Neon SXT off the showroom for my wife after I returned from my second trip to Iraq. She recieved a call today from our local dealership in order to set up a meeting with her. Evidently, they want to buy back the car "for a profit". According to them, there is a such a huge demand for fuel efficient used cars that they are willing tomake a deal with us.
I have searched for articles or press releases about this and came up with nothing.Does anyone know what is really going on?
Thanks

Captain Squalus, you get the gold star for today. We went to the dealership this morning. No one there knew anything about buying back my Neon. And the salesman who called us "wasnt there anymore". But everyoneat the dealershipwas enthusiastically encouraging me to trade up.
There are better ways to sell a car. Just beware.
Thanks

RE: Dodge Buying Back Neons?
here is a thought:
Dealership has a ton of 'new' cars on the lot. They give you an awsome price for your trade. Now you buy another car, a new one. They have now unloaded one of their new vehicles (sales monitored by dodge), and now have a 'used' vehicle on their lot, you old car (which is in high demand). Even if they dont make much off your trade, they do this enough and they are now moving more 'new' cars for dodge. Dodge likes this and they get better bonuses/incentives from them.
They dont give a crap about your neon, its all a game of how to make some more money in the long run for them.
