Default CATBACK

Ok. Heres the catback I want to get: http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/monza.htm BUT...Id like to know if its any good. Does anyone have one of these on their cars? or even know if its good or not? Its got a really nice look to it and i like the whole dual exaust set-up. but that doesnt mean its quality. Im looking at a top price of $400. then Im flat broke till I get a job again.

I don't know how much you are paying for the monza, but I have the monza dual tip, and mine was like $200 and change shipped to the door.

im not sure if pacesetter is a good exhaust company but make sure its 2 and 1/4 piping and not 2 and 1/2 because going to big will make u loose performance and create no back pressure stock is 2 inches if u go to meineke they vharge like 120 for a custom cat back and 2 and 1/4 and it's great power and sound deep

I also have the Pacesetter/Monza exhaust. I like it and love the sound. I will tell u it's not the best quality (aluminized steel). If you get the Pacesetter header, get the armor coated one. I got the regular Pacesetter header and it looks old already because it chips. I've only had it for like 5 months. If u don't care how the header will look, go for it.

My next car will have a Borla exhaust though (top quality). I wish I would have saved the extra money to get the best quality product though (Borla). Overall I'm satisfied with my Pacesetter though.

If u want more opinions on the Pacesetter, look back at the old post b/c there are many topics on the Pacesetter a few pages back.

wrong! stock piping on a neon is 2.5. Go to 3.0 for a turbo or if you have a really good cam. Bigger piping means more top end but a good cam will balance that out. 2 1/4, are you nutz? Go out to your car and mesure before you post. Somebody told me the same thing, I was sceptical so I checked myself. Almost made a pretty expensive mistake.
