I'm familiar with the affects of CAI, but which one offers more HP? AEM or Iceman? Thanks

They're about the same. AEM has a little bit more bling bling if you ask me. They will give you virtually the same performance increases.

Hello,

Speaking of CAI's I was/am in the market for one and had the same question, and another. On a stock 2000 Neon ES how high/low does the AEM and Iceman filter sit above the ground? I also was looking at the Typhoon made by K&N for the Neons too. How deep of water will I have to go through before the K&n, AEM, Iceman filters fail? Is it some stupid number like submurging the tires or less. I live in upstate NY and I have harsh winters and nice rain storms that I will be driving in...will that affect a true CAI like the ones mentioned? If not then that is great.

Also if possible I would like to see pics...but not important, just curious.

Thanks

I have a custom intake that has the filter right in front of the drivers side wheel on my 2000 Neon. I havent had any troubles with it and it is relatively close to the ground.

I prefer the iceman. It sits about 18" off the ground. You only have to worry if you drive through a foot or more of standin water. If you do that and don't know, you deserve to hydorlock the motor.

How much extra HP could I expect from one of these? 10 or so?

Your not gonna get that much of a HP increase, but 6-10 depending on your other mods is about right.
