air intake systems
does anyone know if putting a new air system in a 98 dodge neon would help the gas milage and performance??? Ive talked to some people and ive got totally different answeres so i need your help.thx

I really dont know much about the neon but I have a air intake on my Intrepid. It replaces the stock air pipe and stock filter box. It gives me a little more HP and does save on gas a little. I also have one on my truck and I see a big diffrence.
i just made a cold air intake for my 95 neon and it sits half way past the bottom of my front bumper and it helps alot my revs increased and the end or second and third gear pulls like a ******.. its nice

The Mopar Performance CAI/Ice Man cold air kits are great. The only problem is that they are only for manual trans cars.

You can use the same one. You will just have to cut it short so it will fit. It won't exactly be cold air, but it's better than all the other kits that put it right over the exhaust.
