Thanks for all the input guys and gals. I went with the 2wd largely because of the ride, mpg and the fact that I will likely not use it much if at all. I am hooked on the Diesel after just a day of driving. I will not have anything else in the future. See y'all around in the forum. I will likely be calling on your expertise soon. Happy easter.

Congrats on the new truck!

Even with the 2WD, you can always put a front receiver (very low profile) on and get a portable winch if you were to plan on going somewhere that might need it. Cheaper than the 4X4 and you only gotta tote it around if needed.

Glad you got what you wanted. you will love the CTD, my 05 was my first diesel and 4x4 and I love it.

Now that you got the 2wd fuel saver, you should throw a programmer on it to increase your mpg even more. I increased mine 4 mpg with the hypertech. If you have any problems with the truck the programmer can be removed in about 5 mins. tops.
