Yea, I been told many stories also till I dug around and did some research. Appereantly the so many with in a vin number range were recalled. I was getting gas the other day and an 08 happened to be across from me, so I politely asked him about the recall. He said its only within a vin number range, and that his was not effected.

I believe there are so many sensors that it will be a long long time before you see any programmers. And with the dpf you'll never blow soot again

Well I just spent the last our looking under my truck at the exhaust. There is no sensors on or after the dpf. I dont see why I couldnt just take it off when I get my stacks installed.

Here is another good vid, not on topic but cool none the less. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7UTg38sPTM .

BTW there will be no emissions inspections in SC in the near future. Someday I'm sure, but not in 08. Your Cali tree huggin friends are all wrong on that one.
