What the heck was up with that carter pump?
What do you mean aout the Carter pump?

I don't know if re-using the stock fuel line was such a hot idea jake. That line back at the fuel tank is TINY !! It almost looked like it was on 1/4"line I.D..

You still ran the return line back to the fuel neck didn't you?

I hear ya about the FASS wireing harness. I would have liked a little more room on one end, and a lot less on another. I mounted those resistor looking things up towards the top so that I'll remember where they are ( whatever they are ... LOL )

stock fuel line is the same size as the rubber hose in the kit (3/8") I ran it to the filler neck, open the cap while it's running, sounds like a waterfall. Those two things in the harness are an inline fuse and a relay.

I DID open the cap and I couldn't believe how loud it was !! That thing is really moving some fuel huh?

I don't ever have to worry about the relay and the fuse do I? I could erally hear the relay clickin and a clackin whenI was trying to get it started ( which I did hafta crack the line at the VP-44 to get it running )

I don't know if it was my imagination or what, butIcould have SWORN that once you turn the key back the pump is supposed to stop running. When I turned the key back because fuel started comming out at the VP, the FASS kept running for the 20 seconds continuing shooting fuel . Is that normal?

I don't know, It seems like mine stopped although I didn't turn the key off, I was just ready with a wrench. Might have to take a look and see if it does it or not.

OK, here are some pics of the filter I was talking about. Basicaly I cut the top off of the filter so that I could still use the o-ring to seal the canister. I didn't want to put a whole new fuel filter in there because I didn't want to restrict the flow ( more on that later )

Here ya go ...

Here's what the new FASS filter looks like. BIG difference !! One thing that I noticed when I was taking the stock filter apart is that there were small pieces of paper at the bottom of the canister. It kinda looked like the stock filter was ripping apart !! THAT didn't make me happy to see !! Doesn't look like I'm going to have that problem anymore.

Here ya go ...
