hey guys I was looking for trailer brake controller. I will be pulling a horse trailer and a enclosed car trailer every now and then. Im not sure witch controllers are good, if you know of any web sites with good prices let me know

 

I bought a real nice brand newOdessy controller on Ebay for 74$ including shipping. Works great.

 

They all do the same job, they just mostly look different. Get one for a 1-4 axletrailer that way you know you'll always have what you need. Just make sure you get one that is 100% solid state that way you can mount them on any angle.

And, yes Ebay is a good place to look. I got my Drawtite Activator II on there for $59 shipped.

 

Ditto on that, Solid state with dual accelerometers, that is what allows any angle mounting.

 

My new truck has a PRODIGY, it's got 3 levels of adjustable settings, for small and larger trailers, so you don't wear out your brakes on the trailer. It mounts to anything.

 

I hada cheap one on my last two trucks. When I got this truck, I bought a new Prodigy from Tekonsha. I like the way it works better, and they had prewired harness available for another 15 bucks. It made it plug and play. My vote is go with the best, you did with the truck.

That's the exact one I have. I accidentally said Odesy, because I havn't used it much yet.

 

Here's mine. I don't remember what make it is, but it seems to work OK. That one that you guy's are recommending looks really cool !!! It's self adjusting? That's COOL !!! I'd get that one if I needed to get another one for sure.
