I wish the pics I took with my phone were a little better of this DD 60 that had a hole the size of my fist on both sides of the block, we also have a 8v92 that got a bit hot and the intake ports on one sleeve look like someone took a torch and cut them.

 

We had a 8v92 in a while ago that had broken the face of an exhaust valve and sent it through the turbo. The owner drove it in that way[8D] the whole side of the truck was black. Also had a wrecker drop a truck off with 32 quarts of oil on the sleeper and cab. The driver was pulling a pass and popped a turbo on a N14, he kept driving until the engine shut down due to low oil pressure. A N14 holds about 42 qts, only 10qts were left in the pan. The latest and greatest (still in the yard) was a 8.3l cummins that completely bombshelled. One of the cam bearings welded itself to the cam which stopped the cam. The cam gear shear the key way, broke the cam bearing loose from the block. The engine then ran with the cam 125 degrees off. Blew up the entire overhead. Broken rocker shafts, shattered rockers, and pulled rocker mounting bolts out of the head. What a beauty[8D]

 

Oh and one more thing on this topic.... I'd rather eat worms than drive a Chevy![8D]
