Default Juggling between a Motorcycle or a Cummins

Hello,
As you may have heard, I have just been in the market for a Cummins. I have found several but I did not have the cash in hand at the time. So, I am not quite sure which one I should get. Can you help me make a decision? I don't really need either but I would definitely like them. Thanks

Two totally different animals. I'm very fortunate to have both. I guess it all depends on what you want.

Well, I am only 16, my mom really won't let me have one untill I am closer to 18 and a Cummins is well, just too damn expensive. A motorcycle is really not that reliable, but they are cool andthey area ***** magnent (where do they keep them on Dodges anyway?) - That was supposed to be off of Borat if you didn't get that. And,if I got a Cummins, I could pull my camper hunting, or when I upgrade to a trailer. Also, gas milage is good, but will diesel prices stay low or will they spike? I guess, I am just stuck in a rut, becuase I am going to be working all summer and I am just counting my chickens before they hatch (I don't have any money) What shall I do?

Save your money !! ( give it to you rMom so that you won't spend it )

Don't rush into anything and YES, diesel WILL spike in the winter. At 16 I'd just get a beater car and drive it till the wheels fall off. Having a bike IS cool, but as far as chicks go you either have it or you don't. A bike will help, but it aint gonna get your noodle wet all by itself.

Buy a cummins if you want to live for awhile. As for being in my mid to late 20's Ive had my fair shareof 100+mph wheelies and screwing around at 170 mph on the back roads. NOT A SMART IDEA, fun yes, but really dumb. I think the cummins is a safer way of life. What good is a piece of *** if your dead?

I guess I can throw my .02 in here, being that I was in very similar shoes as you.

I had my bike license and bike before I had a car license. Been ridingsince I was a kidand love it. My first car was a bike and that's what I had from 16-18 years old. BUT, it gets a little old when you wanna go out and it's pouring out, or your girls mom won't let her on, or you wanna go party and can't have somebody else drive it and you home, or you actually wanna go somewhere for a weekend and have to have you friends drive, etc., etc., etc.

Besides, after a few chases (actually clocked at 172 MPH) and a few times getting WAY to close to killing myself at that age, if I was to do it again, I'd get a 4 wheeled vehicle(or 6 ) before I got a bike.

A bike is great and I love to ride, BUT get a reliable car FIRST.

I got rid of my bikes for a few years, saved a few pennies for one that I really wanted and............got two toys.......a CTD and Softie.

Nice I have wanted a bike for a while but with all the cars, I need to get a bigger house first with either a 3 or 4 car garage. that is what the wife and I are working on now, paying off credit cards then new house.

What's up with that rear rim? It looks kinda cool. Have you got a better pic of it?

I like the black dash too. First time I'm really noticing it.

Loose the reflectors on the forks. I actually pulled these off the first day I bought my bike.I don't know why, but they annoy the hell outta me.
