130,000 Miles
I know at 130,000 the engine is still fine and dandy, but what about the rest of the truck. How do the trucks themselves hold out? What about the drive train? There is a cummins with 130,000 for sale that we are looking at for my son and I was just wondering on what to look out for. It is an 03 cummins 4x4.

RE: 130,000 Miles
I ran it on KBB and it said it was worth 22,000 for good condition. It turns out that my wife works with the wife of theused car manager so I will talk to him. I dunno about it though, 130,000 is a lot of miles. I never had my answer to my question. How does the rest of the trucks hold up?

the rest of the truck should be fine. I was talkin to customer service today at www.bullydog.com (great help btw!!!!!) and he mentioned that the diesel will break the axle before the engine goes. the truck should be fine as long as theres no history of a wreck.
my 93 with 340k still drives straight, carries straight body lines, and runs strong!
call your bank/ credit union (prefered) and ask the highest $$ they would give a loan for on that truck.
