hey guys, i just ordered my 4" turbo downtube and im removing all mufflers, cats etc...and splitting it with a 5" t pipe to dual 5" miter cut stacks next week, i work for a mack truck dealership so it cost me about $250 to order all the parts to custom make it...and another sweet deal from ebay for 122$ for a brand new 4" downpipe. so less than $400 and they r sellin for 800$!!! whoohoo. then i plan on ordering the edge attitude/juice combo...and also afe intake system. im a little scared about m automatic tranny, so i guess ill be runnin it on maybe 60hp+ setting. at max. future plans to build tranny, but i want a lift really soon too so i think i atleast want the leveling kit, if not its gettin 4-5" lift and 35"s of rubber. any tips or tricks i need to know guys ?

That's one heluva list, however i don't see a lift pump anywhere on there. You might want to add it. The closer to the top of your list, the better.

 

i should get a new lift pump with 51k miles on it already ? do they make an after market pump ? and how much etc...and sorry guys i dont have pics because i hvant installed it yet, im still waiting for my 4" turbo downpipe to come in...i have all the y's and clamps and stacks though just waitint like a little kid on xmas

 

Well .... since the lift pump is KNOWN to be faulty, and since once it goes it will probably also destroy your CP-3, I'd say it's pretty inexpensive insurance to replace it now, rather than replace it AND the CP later.

I wasn't sure what year the switch came. For some reason I thought it was 2000. Yeah, DEFINATELY more of a reason.

 

03 was the first year for the CP3

 

so the vp44 is the injection pump on my truck ? and what after market mods to do they have to replace and eliminate the bs problems with this fuel system ?
