Engine block would make a coffee table. Just place a piece of tempered glass on the deck and let the pan rail sit on the ground. I used to have a chevy 350 we weldes the rods in the cylinders so they would stick out of the cylinders enoughso the glass would lay ontop of #1,2,7,8 pistons.

Hey Triton don't get your hopes up cause this webpage looks kinda dated but maybe these guys stocked up on some brand new 07 5.9 crate motors before they quit manufacturing them...

Hate to see what happened[&:] never would have thought it...Good luck.. Can't help but chuckle seeing people already lining up to help spend big money on badass pistons, twins, etc in the new engine

I dunno, it's possible and I won;t say for sure they aren't, but I doubt they were Katrina motors. I would think they valued their good reputation in the conversion market niche too much to do something like that without being upfront about it. They probably said 2 to 3 miles in a generic sense. Aren't all brand new engines are started up and broken in when they build them before they go into a truck? Besides that I think he's looking for an 2006 built 5.9 crate motor. It looks like these guys regularly bought crate motors from Dodge at one time or another and it's as good a place as any to check. Maybe before production shut down on the 5.9s they bought up a bunch of them to have, who knows.. Worth giving a phone call though..
