Stuff like that happens when the pump at one time was used for Gas ( being it has 3 different grades) and then switched over to Diesel fuel!

they have to change pumps, lines, and tanks when switching to diesel at a station. not allowed to mix fuels. epa regs.
besides its good to upgrade tanks, especially at those old stations...

this station is about oh. . .3 years old, and not only that. . .it is a diesel only pump right now. . .there used to be a gas nozzle there, but it's gone. BTW, this is a high volume supplier for OTR trucks.

How come most diesel pumps will not allow you to pay at the pump? It's a real PITA !!

You just buy at the wrong place. 99% of the places I buy at allow you to pay at the pump or pay inside. Maybe its a Philly thing or could it be they just don't trust you[8D]
