Default Anyone spray in their own bed liner?

Any1 spray in their bedliner with HIPPO or GATOR GUARD? I have a gator guard kit with shutz gun and 2 boxes of epoxy mix. This should be enough. Ill rough it up with scotch pad and sand paper and then wash out with dish soap and wipe dry with methyl hydrate. then apply. would this be all i need to do other than mask and paper off rest of truck? any tips or concerns?

I have always been too skeptical to try one of those "do it yourself" bedliners.

Having to take it in and get it "redone" could be very costly if even possible. If the stuff he puts on doesnt stick well and chips/peels easily then putting good stuff on top, while it may help, wont make it as good.

if gator guard doesnt work i could get it blasted off and painted professionally. they would blast it anyways before painting it and im sure gator guard will blast off and if it doesnt than it is good stuff and shouldnt be blasted off to begin with.

take lots of pics and do a DIY on it... we can add it to the DIY stuff at the top of the forum (CTD FAQ I think is the thread...)

If you are going to do it please do take pics and let us know how it holds up, it might be a great product but most people feel like i do and are too scared to try it.

if you look at my gallery i sprayed my truck myself with rattleguard looks great i have also sprayed the whole outside of my offroading truck. I would recommend using a grinder with a wire wheel. I took it down to bare metal and it sprayed on really nice.
