ok i am just catching on to what the initials ulsd and lsd mean. now i have a question. Does it matter in my 5.9 if i run ulsd or lsd? I filled up today and I saw the ULSD sticker, and it said requiered to run ulsd in all 2007's but recamended in all desiels.

 

You can run either in yours without any problems.

 

Either is fine. do you run any additives?

We can definetly run either in our trucks. On the second fill up in my truck I filled it up with lsd and then started to panic after I thought about the 2007 year model thing, I actually ended calling dodge customer service to get a straight answer from them, I'm such a retard.

Anyway, it is probably just in my head but I thought it ran a little worse with the lsd opposed to the ulsd that I have been using ever since.

 

In my area, LSD has been quickly dissappearing, so soon it won't even matter cause all you will find is ULSD.

 

What does Drew use for a brew???? I would like to get in the habit of adding some additive, but I am not sure what to use...I have a 95 Dumper with 133k and a 2006 with 15k, And I must add, Both CTD......

although ur vehicle is a 2007 all the cummins 5.9L engines were manufactured before 2007
