Yes 2 pumps in case one fails. I've got a nifty little schematic so it will switch to the other if one fails. Only one will be running at any given time. I think the cost on the nifty little circuit is going to be too high for what it is worth. I may just go with an "A" "B" switch on the dash. 2 check valves should keep the fuel from back flowing into the one idle pump. Some of the Walbros have built in check valves, but the PSI rating is not high enough.
If I do it, I'll post pics and all on here.
I've got to keep the truck running before I can work on any add-on projects 2 weekends ago the boot and exhaust leak and now I got in it this morning and the starter is dead.[:@]
The restriction is in the fuel lines themselves. The fittings may also restrict some whih is why I went with AN fittings. GDP's big line kit takes your fuel lines from about a 1/4" ( stock ) to 3/8".
yes. I imagine there's other types of fittings that can be put on a SS line but, AN is used in aviation, racing, hydraulics and many other high pressure applications.
No I may get rid of this truck and am not going to put any more $$$ into it. The rubber boot I put on there is working fine. I am going to put a plug in the exhaust manifold.
