first time dodge owner and i was wondering what axle ratio these dodges run...??

i've got a 2007 4x4 5.9L 6spd man trans.....

 

3.73 or 4.10.........look in your glove box at the build sheet

what the?? the first one didn't show up at first so I reposted now they are both showing... oh well? Auto's had a choice between 3.73's and 4.10's. Manual only has 3.73's since the 6spd is allready geared so low.. if the 6spd manual had 4.10's I guess it would just top out at 60 mph...

 

You can get a 6 speed manual with 4.10's if you get a 3500 for years 03-05 (I believe). After that I think they changed it so you could also get it in a 2500.

 

thanx for the replies guys... i can't find anything that came w/the truck that would state the gear ratio- i guess i could stop being lazy and jack the rear end up, spin the driveline and count the revolutionsper one on the tire.....

 

Or just hit the interstate, if you have 3.73 your rpm's will be right around 2000 at 80 mph, with the 4.10's you will be around 2800 at 80 mph

 

There might be a tag on the axle... also you can goto Dodge.com and goto contact us... and find the link for e-mail... and give them your truck info and ask for a buildsheet..... thye'll give you all the spece from the factory...

 

I have the problem alot... not sure why..... weird.....
