I dunno guys it seems like only a few weeks ago I was still in hgih school and now i'm getting ready for move in day at F&M. I dunno figured I'd see if anyone else's summer just flew by. I'm guessing it's because i've been workign full time this summer but who knows. Summers over and still havn't even gone camping or fishing the entire summer.

 

it seems like it goes by fast every year....

 

In Arizona Summer can not go fast enough.

 

July seemed just fine, but now that august is here I'm getting nervous. It seems like once ugust shows up, it's like the roller coaster cresting the hill. I'm afraid summer is gonna take off like a freight train now.

On another note ...

I was actually toying around with the idea of driving down to Memphis this wekend for Elvis' anniversary ( 30th anniversary since his death ) Well, after finding out the Graceland is about 15 hours away, I've decided to scrap that idea. A little too long for a weekend drive.

So then I decided that I would FINALLY take the trip to Fairmount IN to see the James Dean museum. It's only 8 hours away ( definately do-able for a weekend trip ) I just looked into it and it looks like the James Dean museum closed last year.

I'm so bummed ....

 

all i did was get married, no rodeo or anything. too broke too really go any where. or do anything this summer but going to safe for next summer so i can rodeo and travel and use my truck!!!

 

Too damm fast.
The only thing though it's so damm hot.

It is so damm hot I saw a cyoete chasing a rabbit and they where both walking.

It is so damm hot I went to the store and bought some bacon and some eggs and by the time I got to the truck breakfast was ready.

Yep! It's so hot the squirrels are handling their nuts with potholders!

But I still don't look forward to winter!

Speaking of ....

I was told that the whole daylight saving thing is done and over now. Is that true? We don't hafta turn the clocks back and forth anymore?

 

"For the U.S. and its territories, Daylight Saving Time is NOT observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Arizona." other than those area's..I think the clock will change for you.. GWB did extend daylight savings time this year from March 11th to Nov 4th.
