I registered over there to ask a question about a ranger I am working on, and went in there and saw how many people had problems with their diesels. So I just had to ask it. Ill see if anyone responds lol.

I traded my '03 F250 6.0 in on my current CTD. Beautiful truck, bigger & more comfortable interior and lots 'o problems with the engine. Although the thing really was a friggen powerhouse, I got tired of taking it to the shop for repairs & footin the bill for a rental car for days at a time. Oil leaks, computer re-flashes, turbo problems, brake problems and a couple of interior issues prompted me to trade it in.After paying two $100 deductables for engine warranty stuff, enough was enough. Wifey was in Sandy Eggo at Sea World with the kids for the weekend. I called her and she said "I can't talk right now...Shamu is about to start". I said "Ok. I bought a new truck. Talk to ya later. Bye" as I was signing the paperwork at the salesmans desk. Haha! Needless to say, she came home with a big 'ole attitude at me!
I'm glad I tradedthe Ford in. I've hadone small issue with my truck...tranny solenoid. Other than that, it's better than when it was new.

Go to "The Diesel Stop" dot com and go to the 6.0 forum and ask that. It will be like kicking a yellow jacket next in the ground. Them guys will swarm and call names and the thread will either be locked or moved real fast.
That is one of the big + about trading my Ford inon this Dodge, the guys on Dodge forums are a whole lot nicer and easier to talk to.
