well I have in the last comps taken the idea of let's buy good now and maintain. a lot o fmy friends say i'm nuts but they buy one 500 dollar or more computera year. I buy one 2g computer every 4 years so I make out on the better end really. My dell ha been good it was 1500 and lasted this long. only this year did i finally get a game that beat it. Age of empires III toasted it. vid card overheated and died. o well it happens. I can't complain about dell's computer it was great. but the computer I got was about 2600 from dell and 2650 from alienware. Ibuypower it was 2095 or somethin like that. I checked their reviews and there were some bad some good but dell and alienware had a lot more bad than ibuypower.

I ordered it on the third and it shipped today. I kept checking status and it was supposed to ship monday. yet on monday it had yet to make any progress. so I called and got ahold of the customer service manager by luck. Told him what was going on he said hold on lemme find your computer in the warehouse and see what the deal is. about three minutes later he came back said that the ram i ordered (cheapy brand lol) was out of stock and on backorder. I could upgrade and it would go to assembly immediately so I did. he also upgraded me to fed ex 2 day air for free so I actually made out ahead. ram upgrade was 100 and the shipping was 149 so basically I made 49 dollars. so today I checked and it has shipped hopefully get it saturday I think. (does fed ex work saturday lol cuz I have no idea)

I recommend Ibuypower to anyone honestly even tho my computer shipped late they did everythign they could to make it right which makes me happy.

Nice!!!

I am actually moving to MAC full time on my next machine. I have been a windows guy for the duration but since a buddy and I recentley converted a PC to a MAC (Yes you heard that right) to test it out on a fulltime basis I am convinced it's time. The fact that MACS now run with intel and you can utilize the office suite there is just no reason to still run a PC. That is a pretty fantastic machine you gotz there!!!!

i'm not a big fan of itunes either because my hard drive decided to crash and i had all my music backed up on my ipod and when i pluged it into the computer after i get it fixed it deleted all my music from the the ipod because it was not the right computer. but of course it was because i had just changed the hard drive on it. what even just have to download my music all again which took about 2-3 years to gain the collection i had

Your totally correct halfdozenbuzzin, you merely "rent" the music (one-time fee rent, its new-age), and if they want to say, "Nope, can't watch/listen to this anymore," than you won't be able to.
In fact, a very similar (or, exactly the same) problem happened with Google Video, whose "you pay for it, and you watch it" content is gone. Read about it here, but basically, if you purchased videos on Google Video, you won't be able to view them after August 15 (thats right, a few days ago).
And there's not a darn thing to say iTunes can't do the same.
Contract between Apple and a major record label end? Say good-bye to listening to any of the artists that the record label had, even though you spent your money on the music.
After all, you as a consumer never "own" anything... corporate America says you can't.
*Keep in mind, this only applies to DRM-protected music, and not all downloads from legal sites/programs are going to have DRM (most of them, at this time, do, however), infact, the industry is starting to offer DRM-free legal downlods, which will avoid these problems. Some people have their thinking-caps on*

wow I didn't post up the hard drive lol. I attribute that to posting at late night when thoughts arn't all that great. It has a 320 gb hard drive which should last me for awhile. this computer i'm on now has I thik a 160 and it's not half full in four years. I woulda bought a new vid card for this one and kept on truckin but unfortunately this computer uses AGP vid cards which are very old and you can hardly get any good ones for it newegg had like three cards that would be an upgrade from what I had (newegg is awesome BTW). new cards using PCI express theres hundreds of them and PCI express cards are soo much better just because the connection that they use is much faster than the AGP connection. so I decided to hey I don't need games now let's hold out till school then order it.

I did look at mac's but when you built a MAC system they were sooo expensive. I think one just like this was over 3k. I was trying to keep my budget to around 2k. but i do agree MAC is a better OS.

I'm definately done with Itunes unless I find a way that they can let me redownload it all because if I log into my account it has a list of all the stuff i've bought from them over the last few years. but I do like the itunes program for burning CD's and playing them and making playlists. very easy to do with Itunes.

I've used limewire before Is that one a legal dloader or no. perhpas i'll look into like rhapshody or one of the other pay deals again. like get a monthly no limit one and just download it all in one month and be done lol. get my moonneeeyyy'ss worth (tried to make that sound like ralphie may if you know who that is? he's a comedian look him up on youtube hilllarrriousss)

Just use lime wire (free) and download everything onto an external hard drive, and then you really need to get an mp3 player too!!
