I sold my beamer yesterday ([sm=happy046.gif]) and I went to the buyers bank today to cash their certified check. The closest Bank of America was about 12 miles away in a pretty bad area. I didn't think anything of it untill the teller handed me the cash.[sm=badidea.gif] Holy crap!! that was a gigantic pile of money. The teller just slid it across the counter to me and said ,"have a nice day". I think probably about 10 shady lookin' dudes in the banksaw the transaction go down. Needless to say I got the crap outta there fast!!! [sm=escape.gif]Some of ya'll probably can't relate to my fear of walking around with that kinda money in your pocket, but around here in the STL you will get killed for $250 easy, for $8,445 who knows what they will do! This is what it looked like, after I locked all my doors and had got on the road and had made sure nobody was following me of course.
Nice. I remember the last time I went to Mexico I took a co-worker with me to the bank because I took out $5,000.00 (before car payments were in the picture) and I wanted all 10's, 5's and singles. it was crazy the pile of bills. had a walmart bag and a good friend.
Close to it. I had some work done on My old toyota. my wife bought a bunch of crap, hotel was a nice one. lobster and shrimp for lunch and dinner. we were there a little more than a week. It was great. For me that is a once in a lifetime thing (blowing $5,000.00)
If I wasn't married blowing the $8500 in the picture wouldn't be a problem either. It would be Line-x, 37X13.50r17 pro comps (for my existing wheels), 6" lift, edge juice w/attitude. And then a long relaxing trip to the carribean [8D]. boo yaa, that would be sweet!!!!
