So this has probably been beatin into the ground, but what does anybody think about this pump? They're claiming 150gph and 14psi out of the box. Anyone's thoughts? Found it at summitracing for $175. I'm making recipies for lift pump solutions for when the day comes, and while I was surfin' I stumbled upon this one, and had to share it.

Which regulator did you end up using? I can see it in the picture, but I can't find it in jegs catalog.
I bought it from TN Speed Sport. They are local and I wasn't going to wait another 2-3 days for one to arrive in the mail. I'll get the info for you when I get home.

Default motor oil and mileage

I just purchased rotella-t synthetic oil. anyone using synthetic oil? if so, have any increase in fuel milage? I am going thru 40 gals a day and need any angle i can find to conserve fuel. does anyone know of any other device or trick for better milage? I am pulling down 21mpg empty and 17 mpg loaded.

Sorry it has taken me a while to post this. The regulator is a Professional Products model 10670 or 10671. I don't know which one because the instruction book has both numbers. I think the difference in the 2 are the amount of PSI that it can be regulated to.

Thanks for the info! I guess the next step would be guages, see where the important numbers are coming in. Then get serious about a smarty and fuel pump.
