mine dually got 285/85/16 (35/11.25R16) and i had to put 2' spacers to clear the sidewalls,
no lift on the truck yet but had to trim about 10' of plastic inner fender

Thanks for the pics 1ton, those 22's are some fine pieces of machined aluminum. As you mentioned, to each his own, and after seeing them, they may be a bit over the top for my personal taste. No doubt they'd do well on a show truck, but I'm more of a daily driving, occasional hauling kind of guy. I think that I'm looking for just a bit of more meat on the ground without a vast noticeable change. I'm favoring at this point Armour's size increase up to the 265's with the spacer. I still want to stay within my wheel well. Say Armour, I know your not on the highway that often, but do you know how the fuel economy was affected by the change? Thanks everyone for you opinions, this winter I'll be buying the new rubber, along with a few new changes !...............Oh, and by the way, how bout those LSU Tigers?

bigriver,

I cannot tell you if it was a gain or loss. I had the dealer put these tires on as part of the deal along with the 2" leveling kit, and exhaust brake!

sorry man!

I haven't got my speedo recallibrated so I don't know exact numbers on mileage, but it looks like it pretty much stayed the same

I've looked into the spacer issues and have decided not to go that route. So I wonder what the largest size I can increase up to in the 17" rims? Any comments?
