Default RE: Upgrading Dually Tire Size

Hey Armour, Thanksyour effort in removing the tire and spacer to measure the distances. I'm still hesitant to use spacers for the thought of weight and reliability. Maybe someone else will have opinions on this, but with my limited knowledge of that mater, I'm not sure. The good part is that I don't need the tires for a few more months and have time to make the decision. Thanks again all !!

Spacers aren't a bad thing. A buddy of mine has a 05 3500 4x4 and he is running 315-70R17's with a 2" spacer and he pulls a horse trailor and a dozer all the time at hwy speeds and he has never had a problem. I have a 08 3500 4X4 and im bout to get 35-12.5-17's. Im gonna run a 2.5" spacer and a 1/4' space b/t the hub and inner wheel to clear the leaf springs. I know alot of people that run this kind of set up and has never had a problem.

Default alcoa singles

I am looking at some Alcoa 22.5 for my NON dually 06 dodge mega cab. I just wanted to know if any one has done this and if they can send me in the right direction as to where to get them. I always see dually done but never singles.
