I live near dallas. I am almost an hour away.
I actually just had surgery on my knee(again) yesterday, so all I have been doing is looking at new and used trucks! I am looking at getting a truck by next year, and am thinking of going the used road this time.
If you dont mind going and looking at it, that would be GREAT!!! Seeing as you own a CTD you will probably know a lot about it, and can notice things that I can't. So if you could do that for me that would be awesome seeing as I won't be able to drive for about 2-3 weeks.
THANK YOU!

Hmmm... Maybe a bad thing?
If he is that desperate to sell it do you think I could trade in my 2006 Ram st SCSB? My truck is fully loaded with nice rims, dvd head unit, 2 CVR 12" kickers, fog lights, back up lights... the list can keep going. It is valued on KBB at 19K(with the rims it is about $20k)
Do you think I could trade in my truck, plus about $500-$1000 and walk out the door with that truck?
The only thing I'm worried about is how many miles that truck has. I can see in the bed that there are a bunch of dents and scratches, and the top of the tailgate is a little dented at the top. Meaning that the 140,000 miles was probably with the truck loaded with some weight some. So is a 04 with 140K miles too much? I mean that price of $21K isn't that bad!

Kelly - Schmelly.
An 04 with 140K on it sounds like it spent it's entire life on the road. Like someone else said, if it's banged up in the tailgate area, then it's spent possibly a hard 140K.
I know a guy here who JUST bought a brand new Cummins. He has zero interrest in protecting the bed area as he already knows that he's getting rid of it in 4 or 5 years. He drives about 40K a year. He's a contractor. He's worse that your"usual" female when it comes to maintenance because he doesn't care, he already knows it isn't long term.
That's the first thing that popped into my head when i saw this truck. Could be a similar scenario ...
