wow...just goes to show you how stupid they really are...they turned down the cat engine for a freakin hino engine! now a few things i did like were the brake controllers from the factory and the option fora fifth wheel hitch from the factory and also the 22.5 18 wheeler rims and tires as an option i also like the brush guard as an option, and it looked like there was maybe a screen for a back up camera on the dash, that would be a nice touch too, especially when backing up to a trailer with no one to spot you. the things i didnt like was the overall look of the truck in general. namely the clearance lights on top...cmon guys are they supposed to be clearance lights or spot lights? make up your mind, and put something reasonable on top of there. also didnt like the look of the interior. reminded me of something youd see in a drug dealers cadillac. the color of the leather was nice, but teh silver gromets in the seats looked uncomfortable and there was just too much of the same color. the stick looks like it would wear your arm out if you were doing alot of gear changing (towing in hilly areas or driving in stop and go traffic). also the diamond plate bed looks horrible. think of how hot it would get in the summer time, and how much glare you would have if you were trying to work on something on the tailgate of that thing.

Toyota is more american than dodge. My truck was made in mexico. Toyota has a plant in kansas I think? They only reason I dont have one is because they are only gas trucks at the moment. They are still very excellenct cars and trucks. Overpriced sure, but who isnt.

When I was in Afghanistan last year my unit leased a small 4x4 Toyota pickup from a local dealer. It had a little diesel engine that was totally bulletproof. We mostly used it for chores around the camp, but I drove it to Bagram a couple of times. We had problems with watery fuel freezing in the filter, so we just let it idle 24/7 during the winter! It never gave us any problems. If my Ram is half as tough as that Toyota it should last a long time.

+1 plus more complaints everyday about toyota's overall quality going down the tube! their gas mileage ratings are extremely wrong and i know from experience... my mom has an 03 corolla (you can laugh i do) and the thing loses any power it had everyday!! the thing is a total slug... when we bought it, yea it was slow but now even worse!! i honestly think it has lost power....
