I've got a Smarty and I love it. Absoloutly no complaints from me. If I own another truck, it too will have a Smarty. I'm pretty sure I will never own any other box or programmer besides a TST PowerMax.

I'm waiting on a responce from Bob. . .I'm sure he'll have a full in box in the morning

BTW, cmspwr, when I had smarty sw#5 and my tst rocking the power was not only very smooth, but insane. half throttle 3rd gear and traction became a problem.

Well I got a response from Bob and all it was was an attachment with info on Smarty Jr.
What exactly is it that I am waiting for from him? I thought he was going to talk about price and stuff.
I did email him back though and told him, for the small price difference I would be going with the Smarty SR. . 100 extra Pony's will do me just fine for now but at least I can upgrade later should I choose too.

I'm curious to know how he deals with you guys myself. The customer service was always very good but, I'm beginning to wonder. I'm sure he's pretty busy with emails all the time but, that's no excuse to not properly respond.

Hey I got a question. Does Smarty adjust shift points and converter lock, ect. For example: If I stomp on it on the freeway to pass, will it still kick down a gear and rev to 3000rpm's with little speed change?
Man that pisses me off. You have to ease in to it to pass or you look like an idiot. The rpm's max out and your sitting there going as fast as you can go in that gear at 3000rpm's. If fact, why does it downshift like that if it's going as fast as it will go allready in that gear?
Oh, I forgot to mention that my normal criusing speed is 75-80mph

there is a way to adjust that but you have to take it to a real tranny shop... page 21-1194, 1195 (7276 of 8410 < pdf page)of the manual... your spec here is probably off, meaning it's not gapped far enough out. should be 5/8"s if that doesnt fix it good enough, I think you can go another 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch and still be ok. have a look...
