Looking at a set of theseon my 05 3500 srw 4x4.Anyone have likes or dislikes about the toyo's?

Also thinking about steping up to 285 / 75 /17 . running 4.10 gears should this get me any milage increase or will I lose mpg?

Carter you might fill in your sig with any mods you have, as mods such as a programmer can affect you mpg a decent amount, this way everyone can relate more to your truck and give you results from other guys with similar mods

To add to that 285/75 17s will put you off about 2mph for every 30mph you do
ex. at 60mph you'll be runnin 64mph

A little. I believe the only difference between the 265 and 285 is the 285's are 2 inches taller in diameter. A taller tire should reduce rpms a little.

you will gain mileage on the highway due to lower engine rpm, however you will loose city mileage due to a reduced mechanical advantage. . .however the difference between the two may cancel each other out depending on driving habits and how much time you spend at a constant speed.

What gears are you running, and what kind of mpg are you getting?

With the 4.10 's I'm just getting 15.6 - 16 av. If I keep it 55 or under it will sometimes push 17. With the 4.10 you get to 2000 rpm at about 64 mph.

I was hoping the 285's would lower the rpm's and help mpg a little.

I envy those getting 18 - 20 mpg!!!
