K & N air intake???

Default K & N air intake???

I am getting several different negative feedbacks on K & N(turbo problems). I just installed it about a month ago andto me it is working fine! Any feed back from other K&Ner's?????

2001 dodge ram 5.9

as long as you keep it oiled correctly and clean it will do it's job. . .however put too much/not enoughoil or dont clean it often enough you WILL run into problems.

paper or dry nano fiber's are realy the best for these engines.

Take it off put in a paper or factory filter for best results.I know some people will swear by K&N but in my humble opinion, it is not the best on a diesel.

my 93 ctd came with a k&n filter. after i did away with it, the engine perfoems better with a stock replacement.

I haven't had any trouble with mine....thought about puttin a different filter on it and keepin the torque tube and what not....no idea what i'd replace it with, heard about BHAF and some others....but never used anything other than K&N...

If you want to keep the torque tube, then get a Amsoil dropin.
I put one on my 05 and noticed a 50* drop in the EGT s.

Well I don't have the stock intake asembly, the truck came with the K&N set-up on it do they a replacement cone filter?

Does anyone know if you can get the Amsoil nano filter to fit the AFE stage 2 intake.

They do make a replacement filter for the K&N CAI.
Check out Geno's or Summit racing.
