Snow in the desert? You're destroying my dream of retiring to texas and kissing the white stuff good-bye forever. Bought a $600 snow blower today. Could of been a FASS system....

roadking, if you move to south texas you should be alright. in 5 years i was down by austin it only snowed 3 times that i know of. and san antonio even less i believe. jimmy, i wish i got to play with my 4 wheel drive! i spent most of my live in colorado and therefore love playing with 4 wheel drive! all of my cars/trucks have been 4x4 or awd including a turbo'd 91 talon and a '94 4runner. that talon was a freakin blast in the snow! right now i have a '06 rubicon wrangler and my new dodge, but they have to stay at home while i have to drive an 08 powerstroke longbox 2wd. it almost hurts physically!!

well, new we have about 3 inches of really wet, heavy snow, sticking to the ground and turning the roads into a muddy mush. tried to go check on another well thats 4 miles down the road, made it about a half mile in my company ferd before i had to turn around... granted, if i had all terrain tires and 4wd, or at least some weight over the rear axle instead of only in the front of the bed... but i feel better saying its because of my POS powerjoke!
