Thanks for the support guys. Good to see all the honest opinions. The things is that no matter how this turns out, I am not gonna let it give me a bad attitude. I am still gonna be a nice guy. I made a stupid mistake and I will atone for it. Like it is said "if you are gonna be stupid, you gotta be tough or have lots of money" And another one I just heard, "credibility is like virginity, once its gone, its gone"

No good deed goes unpunished.......indeed!
Most people complain about crooked dealerships, here, we find an honest, helpfull one (parts/service), and he has to deal with a jackass like this!
Truely a shame.
Keep your chin up brotha'
Don't loose any sleep!

I say when and if he shows up with the flash light. After confirming it is actually yours, I would hand him a bill for 2 hours of labor at whatever rate you deem appropriate minus $50 for the belt. Since he really didn't need the ECM, but he did receive the labor, that's the way I would do it. If he gets loud, then I would give him the $50 bucks and be done with him. If he gets really loud then Mayfairs wrench to the head sounds about right.

Mayfair, OMG! I almost peed myself while reading that! That right there was funny, i don't care who you are.
