WVO in Diablo
Latest update
The day before yesterday I put a little too much wvo in and was too lazy to go to the station to top off. Yesterday morning truck did not want to start, I immediately thought fuel filter, so after work I changed it, it was dirty but not the problem. I had spent about one hour getting the truck started using lights for heat. after I got it started I went to the truck stop and topped it off with pump fuel, this morning went out there and it started great. I am going to try and use the block heater to see if that helps a little bit. otherwise this is working great. and as soon as Arizona gets back up to the temperature we are famous for I know this will be even better.

I am definately interested in this topic!! I thought it needed to be converted to bio before it you could run it.
So is this stuff straight out of the fryer except for the filtration ?
Keep us posted on what kind of savings you see (MPG and/or $ at the pump).
It's too cold here to run WVO now but it might be an option for the summer months.

bert. . .as long as the pH is right you can pour it in and go. . .what is probably causeing the start-up hessitation was the glycerine. that can actualy be pulled out with some chemicals, then you'll have Bio.
these trucks can run B100 with no mods. . .only thing you may have to do is change the fuel filter 2-3 times since it will dissolve any gunk in the tank.

I did look into making bio but here with the temps I wouldn't be able to run it very well in this time of year and it takes some time and space to get started as well as the byproduct (glycerin) to get rid of.
I like the idea of the WVO if all it takes is to filter it.
Diablo, is the WVO you use pH tested and if so what is it?
