Cummin covers B20, why use? Cost worth it?

Unless you can make the biodiesel yourself and mix it with petrodiesel their really isn't much of a difference in price. It is said that you can make it for less than a $1 per gallon and I think the tax man allows individuals to make 400 gallons per year without taxing.
As for the 20% biodiesel, Cummins warrants B20, but our warranties are covered by Dodge, not Cummins. Dodge only approves B5, except B20 for fleet vehicles.
Some points of biodiesel or other alternative fuels is cleaner burning and more importantly for me is that less of my fuel dollars would be going to buy crude oil from terrorists by staying here in the US buying farmers produce to make the biodiesel. I look forward to the day Dodge will approve the use of higher biodiesel percentage.
Alot of people buy and burn higher blends of biodiesel without any problems, but the potential to void your warranty, as with any modification, additive or improvement that can be linked to a failure requiring Dodge to repair under warranty.

Cowboybob, runs only b20 and he says its cheaper and gets better mileage out of it
I have found a source of waste oil and will be building my own processor here shortly. Hopefully this summer I'll be running B100.
