Just thought I would post these cause I am getting the Oliver Stone post's that my leaving Dodge Smells fishy cause I say a 4 horse Trailer weighing 26000 pounds

49 Feet long.... oh and its air ride I cant begin tell you what thay option added in weight has 10 foot slide out on the other side, Plasma's, Internet Satelite, an an interior that would make most drewl! lol Dual 45 Gallon ater Tanks and 25 Gallon gas tank for my Onan.

I went to aCAT station with 2 horses and my full load for Florida whereI live from Jan 2nd to April so I was loaded had total weight of 33,800

So here it is.. and thanks for all the posts and info... I am really going to look into this Sterling Truck based on the Ram if they can and it seems they can put together a custom Ram for me.. Im there!! the F450 may just be a bandaid for a while!

That's a big ole trailer you got there. It doesn't take much to be overweight. My 06 quad cab with my 14ft dump trailer and a half load of rock weighed me in at 23000 pounds and it doesn't look like much at all. but still i'm 5k over on my weight pulling commercially so it always makes me a little nervous

 

my truck is 9800lbs whit the weight of all the tool and the generator i carry ,a full tank and me
i only got 1200lbs spare before being overweight... as Zman says it doesnt show much when i put 5000lbs on the flatbed whit the air suspension at 100lbs....
still im little nervous when patrols come to me

they are alot after us here,maybe 1 by month i got checked but some only want to see the truck closer :P

 

That's a nice rig you got. I took my Sundowner 3 horse thru the CAT scale earlier this year and it weighed in at 22k with just 2 horses and no gear. If I had my 10 bales of hay, full water tank, food, gear and 90 gallon tank full, I bet it would have been over 25k. Throw a third horse on there and add another 1000 pounds (yes all of our horses are fat)

 

now that is a beast of a trailer. . .and I also would say you didnt have much of a problem pulling it either

 

looks like you are for sure getting the most of our your very nice trailer!

 

We own a 47Ft. Integrity 3 horse. I would like to see its wieght with out 01 3500. The last rodeo I went to some people from Texas had one of the biggest Sundowners I have ever seen.

 

I asked this in the other thread but I'll ask it here as well in case you didn't see it.

Who made the trailer for you? We have a guy over here named Frank Dibella who does that kinda stuff. Until I saw his trailers I always though horse trailers help just two horses.

 

Called a slant horse trailer for a reason. hehe

 

Thats one nice trailer you got there. Hopefully that 6.4l will pull that thing.
