Default Where da hood at?

Anyone know of a place to get a reasonable priced hood for an 01 that has a small scoop on the front? I don't want an alcohol burning funny car with a blower type scoop. I'm trying to find one that kinda has the vintage MOPAR muscle car look. I see some of you guys with them in your pictures, but they are all 3rd gens. The cool ones that I find for sale are also for 3rd gens. [:@]

cheap may be hard to do unless you find one used. Fiberglass will also likely be all you can find, here's a couple...

I didn't say cheap, I said reasonably priced ($1500 for a hood is not reasonably priced). I found out a long time ago you get what you pay for when it comes to fiberglass automotive stuff. I am just having a hard time finding what I want that will fit a diesel truck for an 01 model. [sm=sigh.gif]

That's what I'm looking for. I signed up for an LMC catalog 2 weeks ago. I guess the x-mas season has them slowed down a bit.

How is it that these hoods are steel and they are cheaper than the fiberglass hoods?

Expect to pay a good body man the difference to make the gaps line up and fit right. New metal parts are usually thinner and obviously they didn't come from a factory die, so they will have to be massaged a bit.
Also expect to have some minor dings that need to be fixed before it's ready to paint. No way is a freight company going to carry that cross country and not ding the edges
