Should I buy a DMAX or Cummins

One of the things that turned me off from GM is that fact that all of their vehicles comes standard with OnStar. This can obviously be a huge debate, but I simply can't see how this is a good thing. On Wikipedia, they mention, "Starting 2009, General Motors will equip new vehicles with an updated version that allows police to remotely halt the vehicle. Customers can opt out of that function, but critics doubt that this decision will be honored in all cases. Also it could give someone who hacked into the system control over the car." No thanks. If OnStar allowed *me* the ability to halt *my own* vehicle (and took it out of the hands of Big Brother) and if I knew that this information would not be used against me (like warranty, for example), maybe... Actually, I still wouldn't want this feature.

I have to say, I work in New York City and this weekend is the NY boat show. All the trucks I have seen the past couple of days has been either tractor trailers or Dodge 3500"s,atleast a dozen, seen maybe 2 Fords and Maybe a 1 Duramax and there pulling some awefully big boats. My opinion Dodge all the way.....Dallas
Personally I just got out of a ford, I thought that I liked it until I bought a Cummins, My dad has a duramax and loves it, he pulls a 40ft toy hauler with it regularly. I would say buy aCummins, but that is why I bought one because it was my favorite.

To give credit where credit is due, Dodge does not have the best creature comforts. Both Ford and Chevy offer more bells and whistles than Dodge. In my driveway, I have a Ford, a Chevy and a Dodge. The Dodge is the most reliable, The Ford is the fastest and the Chevy is the most comfortable. But these 3 vehicles are totally different in all aspects. I could get in any of them and drive wherever I wanted to go. We have Fords, Chevys and obviously Dodge diesels on our lot, and if I had to pick one to use like a truck is used, the Dodge is the first, Ford second and Chevy last. Wait untill it really gets cold and try and crank them all. There is ony one choice and it starts with a letter beginningbetween C(hevy) and F(ord).
