Default im keeping it!

Well, got to talking with dad. We came upon a good deal. I keep the 2002 for the next 4 or 5 years untill I am completely done with school. When I graduate college, if I make A's through out the whole 4 yrs, he will purchase me a 5.9 Cummins of any year new or used. Now my thinking is the last 5.9 was made in the past year 2007. So by then it will be around 2012 and it will already be 4 years old. So its a pretty good deal I think. And I just sold a piece of land with a little building on it around Asheville so got some money from that for the truck!

Here is the list of next months installs:

7 Inch Mitre Cut stacks (got from my buddys shop for nothing! werent being used)
7 Inch indash TV with GPS
2 12" subs in box under the rear seat with 1200 watt amp
All new door speakers (sony i think)
New rear LED tail lights
New rear 3rd mebmer LED brake light

should be interesting and fun after its all installed! will take pics!

jbl hands down are the BEST! They are a bit pricey but well worth the $$. They can turn a stock set up into a real pleasure with nothing more than adding the speakers. Add a new head unit and amp and its baddass!

Smart guy, take your dad's deal. I have a feeling by 2012 the 6.7 will have proved itself and all the little gremlins worked themselves out.

the dodge infinitys are crap compared to most aftermarket. even the high end infinitys, while crystal clear, they are almost too crystal, meaning not enough lows. i had some of their nicest in my 4runner. my mom loved them for her classical music, but for 'regular' music they just didnt sound right. jbl is for sure the way to go

JBL. . .Ive got 2 3-way 6x9's and 2 2-way 6" components in my little yoda and with the stock head unit they have a nice thump to them and sound very good.
