Whos had problems with their programers or chips/etc? I have no clue what a TST/Smarty/Edge Juice with Attitude/Power Puck is. All I know is that it makes the truck go fast. Just looking through the posts it seems like alot of guys are having trouble with these things. Whats the deal? Is worth the headaches?

I'll be one that says YES, Ive had issues. . .but they have been fixed.

the ground wire for my TST lost connection which meant my truck went into SEVERE limp mode and smoked out 4 lanes of a major highway. some electrical contact cleaner and some sand paper. . .alls well now.

past that I have not had a single issue.

 

im currently having issues with the edge...im throwing 3 codes CEL light is on truck dies under full throttle...i called edge today and they said they have seen similar problems before so they told me to take it out and send it back so thats what im doing tonight...other than this incident i love it

 

I have the Quadzilla XZT and the TST CR47 and haven't had problems with either of them....Other than keeping the truck under the speed limit.

 

I have a power puck and I've had problems with it. It causes my truck to stall at random times. I finally gave up on it after trying to use dielectric grease on the connections. I'm not using it anymore.

On my old 2001 CTD I had a superchips programmer and I never had a single issue with it. I had it on the truck for 40k miles with no problems.

 

No trouble yet. (knocking on wood)

It's kinda like this. You know it's a dangerous situation but as long as you stay on top of things you should be okay.
