Default MAG HIGH TECH DIFFERENTIAL COVERS

My truck is used for work, I haul a 53 ft 4 car trailer with about 21000 pounds everyday. I have a 2007 with the 5.9 . I am looking to buy one of these diff covers for my truck because they hold double the fluid and have cooling fins on them, suppose to drop temps by 20 degrees and have a magnetic drain plug with a dip stick in the top as well. Has anyone used one of these and have any reviews on them before I order one.

I have them myself. Have no worries. They're some of the best aftermarket pans on the market. Yes, they have dipsticks, the rear holds 4 extra qts and the front 3.5 extra. I've not used a temp gauge on the axles but, you can but with the increase fluid, they're running cooler.

My friend uses one on his 2500 diesel and says it's the best thing since canned beer. Not sure if I agree about that, but it is a nice recommendation.

I've got both the trans and the rear diff from Mag-tec and they are some FINE quality stuff for sure !!

I was a little hesitant because of the cost, but once you get them and you see the quality you'll see why they cost what they do.

59 - If you are serious about possibly getting some, let me know. I have afriend who is a dealer for them. He's talking about getting an order together sometime soon. When he does, I'm going to order the front diff. If you want some, let me know. It'll cost less shipping wise I'm sure.

I have the rear diff cover (awesome) The trans pan (awesome) The front diff cover didn`t work out for me (it hit all the time) I have stock suspension and they said this happens on some trucks. I now have the PML on the front. I painted it, its not as cool looking and no dip stick, but does at least have a drain plug. Kevin

If you're wanting to cool the rear DO NOT put a powder coated cover on the rear, powder coating is a great for heat retention, PML makes them with or w/out powder coating. http://www.mrtruck.net/covers.htm
