RE: car wash
I won't let ANYONE but me wash my truck. I guarranty the first time you take a Black truck to a car wash, even if it's a hand wash, you will have swirl marks all over it!!
Nothing but microfiber rags touck my truck and once I use them , they become shop towels. I use brand new ones each time I wash. It's $4 for a pack of 8 and thats WAY cheaper that taking it to the car wash. Thats enough to wash, wax and buff it.

RE: car wash
DO NOT TAKE ANY OF YOUR VEHICLES TO A DRIVE THROUGH CAR WASH!! This summer I had the opportunity to help my father with hydraulic work one in upscale Pompano Beach, FL, directly across the street from a lambo dealer and a Land Rover dealer. The place was only about 5 years old and the brushes had to be the nastiest things I have ever seen, not to mention the glass, nails, screws, sludge, misc. crap laying around, crappy soap that could not even wash the dirt off of our hands, let alone a car. After that experience I know I will never trust one of my cars to a car wash again.
