Intake Manifold... Stock vs ATS...
1st impression after complete warmup... OMFG that manifold sucks (stock) unless it gives me over 20 mpg I doubt it'll be on my truck long. I will leave it on to test the mileage on a couple of the different settings that I've already test to have multiple points to compare against but I'm not going to like it lol.
what I lost: throttle response went down, boost seems to come up sooner though (cant really make sense of that one)... higher boost, less flow??? seems that egt's are slightly higher with the stock manifold also. I drilled & tapped the manifold for my boost gauge prior to the install.
to sum it up... I'm not happy at all with the stock intake performance after having the ATS on there for 1.5 years...

depends on who you talk to. I say worth it, others may say no. with my mods Isay yes it's worth it. Sure you can get more power dollar for dollar with another mod but IMO, for daily driving and probably towing (I havent towed with the stock manifold so I cant compare) it's my opinion thatit's worth it.
Woli, I think you should buy one and let me know how you like it before I buy one.
Thanks for the head up Steve. I really curious as to what's going to happen to your mileage. If you can control yourself, try and drive your Ram now useing the same setting you did with the ATS so tht we can get a REAL comparison.

yup, thats the plan. going to go fill it up later today and go with the same stock settings I have now, then a few of the other settings that I have data for. the difference should track from setting to setting.
