Default Turbo's?

I am going to be installed a new turbo or turbo's on my truck for the senoir project...what kind of turbo is the best for my truck that is a Daily Driver and also hardly ever pulls and just needs some more air and all that. Also consider my current mods... ATS? BD Twins? what yall think?

Your going to need trans mods first. Contact Nathan Wright. He builds some of the meanest set of twins out there IMO.

I have the trans mods, if it needs more that will come....I may go with the BD superB..looks great and havent heard any that are better....twins I am not so sure about, if my truck can even hold that range of BOOST...40 pounds would be fine for me I believe...if my truck cold even hold that...all i could see it needed is a new exhaust manifold?

any other ideas? things needed? thanks!

that super B would be a nice turbo for your truck. and if you ever wanted to run twins you already have one of the better turbo's to do it with.

twins are for when you realy have a hard time keeping EGT's under controll. . .but for a VP powered 24 valve it doesnt take much for EGT's to get out of wack.

my EGTs can get out of wack FAST!...but maybe the superB special would work just fine and keep them low enough....i would do that and a ATS exhaust manifold as well....or should i try and throw a hotrod VP44 in the mix?? lots of ideas on what to do?

thanks!

hotrodVP44 are less responsive to pressure box so u cant get as much hp out of it than a Standar output VP44 whit a pressure box
and a superB special will spool less quickly than the super B but produce more psi....
my egt are back high cuz i get injectors, programmer and a pressure box alltogether but very managable, very high power, ill switch to smarty and then upgrade head stud and twin turbos

so really the superB is better then the superB special? nice i didnt know that! also, my EGTs go crazy with the smarty and the edge together.....but not too too high...I dought ill do twins anytime soon, maybe just a nice single set up for now....and the ATS exhaust manifold...did u notice a big difference when u installed the turbo from the stocker?
