Default pullrite superglide

Is anyone using a Pullrite Superglide 5th wheel hitch in their shortbeb CTD? I just got the 24k so I would have 18" of travel because my 5er is wide body (100" wide) and need all the travel I can get. Wondering if I will need to go ahead and order the air bags or not.

Can't help you with the hitch. I have a regular Reese manual slider in my shortbed. My fiver is pretty light and still squatted her down so I did put the Firestone riderite airbags in mine. Really happy with them. When you're empty just let them down to 5 psi and you don't know they're there.

I have the Pullrite Superglide 16k model and am very pleased with it. A cool benefit is that I can totally remove it, then lay a rubber mat down to concel the holes for the pins.

I recently installed Pacbrake airbags due to some slight sag. My 5'ver is 15k dry and as in this older photo, the sag is noticeable.

Obtaining these two accessories are a good move!

Maybe you've already ordered your airbags, but it's worth a look at the Pac-Brake brand. After comparing the different ones side by side, I went with the Pac-Brake.
